Los Angeles is one of 16 cities in North America hosting World Cup soccer matches in June and July of this year. In celebration of this event there will be a Special Event Station associated with each city.
If you have a home or remote station in Southern California and would like to operate using our W6C callsign as the Los Angeles station during the period of June 11 to July 19, please complete the brief form below. Activity is planned on the 160-6m bands. Approved operators will be given access to a scheduling system where they can choose their band-mode time slots to operate. Initially, preference will be given to filling the schedules for the Los Angeles match days of June 12, 15, 18, 21, 25, 28 and July 2, 10. Thanks.
